Exercise Video of the Week: Reaction-Based Plank

syattfitnesslogo

The Reaction-Based Plank is an advanced version of the standard Single-Leg Plank. Truth be told, I made the name up because I had no idea what else to call it and I thought “reaction-based” sounded pretty cool described it very well. Regardless, it’s a brutal variation designed to improve rotary stability, reaction time, and teach the true meaning of “staying tight.”

I hope you enjoy the video and, as always, if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions please leave them below.

Never Minimal. Never Maximal. Always Optimal.

Good one Jordan. It helps to think about reaching your legs away from your body so that the entire body is elongated and ‘strong’. This can really help with balance.
